Encouraging Cards

Hug Notes
Hug Notes is my little box of "I see you" for the days when you don't have the words or the energy to encourage yourself.
Think of them as tiny paper hugs: a collection of affirmations and encouraging notes you can tuck into your planner, tape to your bathroom mirror, slide into a lunch bag, or keep in the glove compartment for those parking-lot-deep-breath moments. Each card is written like I'm sitting across from you, cup of tea in hand, reminding you that you are not your to-do list, your mistakes, or your latest bad day.
Some cards are short and direct, the kind you read in five seconds between meetings. Others invite a pause, asking you to breathe, unclench your jaw, or remember one small thing you're proud of. None of them are fluffy clichés; they're real words for real life: burnout, big feelings, quiet victories, and all.
Use Hug Notes as part of your morning ritual, pulling one card to set the tone for your day. Keep a few in your bag to pass along to a friend, coworker, or stranger who looks like they're barely holding it together. Slip one into a gift, a bouquet, or a child's backpack as a gentle reminder that they are loved and capable.
If your brain has been feeling loud and unkind, these notes become a softer voice in the room. One that says, "You are allowed to rest," "You are doing better than you think," and "You still deserve kindness, even when you're not at your best."
Hug Notes is more than a card set. It's a portable comfort kit, ready for every time you need to feel held, even for just a moment.
